Dayton Campus and Residential Housing Parking Permit Application

Reminder: All persons parking on campus in a personal vehicle must register a license plate with the Department of Public Safety (DPS). DPS regularly scans vehicle license plates to confirm that all vehicles are registered to park on campus.

The university no longer processes permits in-person. Those persons who are not students/faculty/staff at Wright State may purchase a permit below.

Two permits will be available on April 7, 2025 for Residential Guests who wish to park their vehicle on the Dayton campus:

• Single Semester Permits are available for $95, and are valid for the entire 2025 Summer Semester. This permit provides access to all general parking areas (yellow and white spaces) surrounding campus and in the residential areas.
• Temporary (i.e., Weekly) Permits are always available, and are valid for the requested number of calendar weeks beyond the requested effective date of the permit. This permit also provides access to all general parking areas (yellow and white spaces) surrounding campus and in the residential areas.

The university has ample parking. However, please note that parking is not guaranteed in your preferred lot.

Individuals who need parking that is accessible to disabled persons are required to display a State-issued handicap permit (or license plate) in addition to having a valid parking permit with the vehicle's license plate linked to it.
